Quality Ingredients Corporation will moderate a panel of experts at the 2012 Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) educational conference titled “Partnering for Success with Your Contract Manufacturer” on Wednesday, June 27 at noon in the Special Events Pavilion.
With speakers from Diamond Crystal Brands, BASF and Food Technology Magazine, this scientific program session will offer the tools attendees need to find and evaluate contract manufacturers. “Contract manufacturing plays an important role in a company’s market strategy,” said Isabelle Day, CEO of Quality Ingredients Corporation and moderator for the panel. “A contract manufacturer is an extension of your operations department and a key component of the supply chain that brings your product to market. Our session will educate attendees on how to foster the kind of contract manufacturing partnerships that result in success and peace of mind.”
Due to the widespread interest in the subject matter and relevance to all attendees, IFT elected to hold this scientific session in the Exhibit Hall’s Special Events Pavilion to ensure that even those who are not part of a formal scientific education track may attend. Attendees will not only learn how to effectively screen contract manufacturers from food, nutrition and engineering experts, but they will leave with a useful guide to creating a successful partnership.
