Celebrating its 25th year of service to the food industry, Burnsville, Minnesota-based Quality Ingredients is a 100% Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company with a laser-sharp focus on customer service, leveraging expertise in drying technology to create proprietary and custom powdered ingredient systems as well as provide toll drying and custom manufacturing for food processing companies across North America and beyond.
Quality Ingredients Corporation has created an exciting new business management role. This position works closely with both our market facing positions and operations organization to:
- Grow the company in our service segments (custom manufacturing and tolling)
- Lead and manage cross-functional project and account teams
The Service Account Manager performs a hands-on-leadership role charged with leading internal cross functional teams to deliver exceptional service to custom manufacturing and tolling customers. This position must be able to work effectively and simultaneously with external and internal customers in sales, operations, and technical roles. Serving as the voice of the customer to QIC and representing QIC to customers, this position will ensure that QIC is providing the best service in the market place and manage critical cross-functional internal projects to ensure that the company is aligned to meet and exceed customer expectations.
The minimum qualifications for this job include:
- 10 years of B2B sales or service experience
- Demonstrated results in serving customers and exceeding their expectations
- Demonstrated skills in understanding the operations, manufacturing and technical side of the business and being able to effectively serve and support customers’ manufacturing experts
- Demonstrated skills working with sales and marketing organizations to identify, frame and evaluate opportunities
- Superior team leadership, communication and problem solving skills
- Capable of leveraging big company experience and leading and working effectively with small companies
- Strong business management and financial acumen
- Demonstrated project management skills and ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
- PC Proficiency (MS) – and CRM experience
- Four year technical college degree – MBA is preferred
- Project Management Certification beneficial
This position will be located in Burnsville, Minnesota and will require up to 25% travel. No relocation is available. Pay and benefits are very competitive.
Business Development Manager
We are looking for a East Coast Business Development Manager who is currently located on the East Coast. This person would be responsible for, and have experience in, identifying, targeting and closing new accounts using demonstrated customer-oriented solution selling skills. We do require a four year college degree and eight plus years of documented sales experience, food ingredient sales-related preferred.
